Skincare ingredient checker, free and online
Paste the ingredient list (INCI) of any cream, serum or cleanser and pick your skin type: we show you what each ingredient does, what suits your skin and what to avoid. Powered by the same ingredient database as the MyGlowApp app.
Free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser: we don’t store or send what you paste.
What it checks
Everything that matters in a list, in seconds
Strong actives
Retinoids, AHAs, BHA (salicylic acid) and benzoyl peroxide: which ones are there and whether they sit high enough in the list to work.
Actives that help
Niacinamide, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, peptides or azelaic acid, and which skin they suit.
What can irritate
Fragrance, essential oils, drying alcohol and harsh sulfates: key if your skin is sensitive or prone to redness.
Pore-clogging oils
Coconut oil, cocoa butter, isopropyl myristate or petrolatum: what to skip if your skin is oily or acne-prone.
What each ingredient does
The official function of every ingredient according to CosIng, the European Commission’s cosmetic ingredient database.
The 1% line
Shows where trace amounts begin, so an active listed at the very end doesn’t fool you.
How to read it
Three signals, for your skin
Good for your skin
Ingredients your skin type and concerns call for: niacinamide for pores, ceramides for dryness, centella for redness…
Worth avoiding
What doesn’t suit your profile: pore-cloggers if you’re acne-prone, fragrance if your skin is sensitive, drying alcohol if it’s dry.
With care
Strong actives like retinol or exfoliating acids: they work, but you introduce them gradually and never two on the same night.
What about a 0–100 score for your skin?
This checker tells you what the list says. The MyGlowApp app goes further: it recognizes the product from a photo, finds its list for you, scores it 0–100 for your skin type, concerns and goals, and fits it into your routine with the products you already own. How the score works →

From the same ingredient database the MyGlowApp app uses: official functions from CosIng (European Commission) plus the app’s rules on actives, irritants and what to look for or avoid for each skin type and concern.
The checker flags the oils and butters most likely to clog pores (coconut, cocoa butter, wheat germ, linseed) and isopropyl myristate when your skin is oily or acne-prone. They matter more in the first half of the list.
On the pack, usually after the word “Ingredients”, or on the brand’s website. If you don’t have it handy, the MyGlowApp app finds it for you from a photo of the product.
Because the score takes your skin type, concerns and goals into account, and the app calculates it with the product’s verified list. Here you see what the list says; in the app, whether that product is right for you and how it fits your routine.
No. The analysis runs in your browser: the list is never sent to a server or saved.
